The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus, convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, indwells, empowers, seals, and guides believers into all truth.
Scriptures: John 16:8, 14; Romans 8:9; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:13; Acts 1:8

Human Condition & Salvation

We believe all people are sinners by nature and choice, separated from God, and Jesus Christ is the only Savior. Salvation is by grace, through faith, resulting in repentance and regeneration by the Spirit.
Scriptures: Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1–5; Ephesians 2:8–10; Acts 4:12; Titus 3:4–7

The Church

We believe the Church is the spiritual unity of all believers, called to worship, evangelize, disciple, and observe Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Scriptures: Ephesians 4:4–6; Acts 2:42; Matthew 28:19–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

Last Things

We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead -believers to eternal life, unbelievers to judgment - and the ultimate restoration of all things.
Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:51–57; Revelation 20:11–15; Matthew 25:31–46; Revelation 21:1–5

Statement Of Faith with Scripture

The Scriptures

We believe the Bible - both Old and New Testaments - is the verbally inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, the final rule for faith and life.
Scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:15–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; John 17:17

God

We believe in one eternal God - Creator and sustainer of all -existing in three equal Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Scriptures: Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; John 10:30; Ephesians 4:4–6; Isaiah 44:6

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man; born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return in glory.
Scriptures: Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35; John 1:1; Romans 1:3–4; Hebrews 4:15; Philippians 2:5–8; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:11

The Work of Christ

We believe Jesus died for our sins, rising again as our Redeemer and righteousness before God. His death and resurrection are the only basis for salvation.
Scriptures: Romans 3:24–26; Ephesians 2:8–9; 1 Corinthians 15:20; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 9:1
